CIPM® Level II Exam Preparation

Original practice questions, explained the way examiners think.

Every question comes with a 3-tab explanation: the answer at a glance, the full worked solution, and the concept behind it taught from zero — so you can study without a separate textbook. In English and Japanese.

No account required. The first 4 questions of every deck are free.

Inside a question

One question, three depths of explanation.

Answer a question and the explanation opens in three tabs. Stop at the result, or go all the way down to the underlying theory — these are actual screens from the free sample.

1Answer

The result, the formula, and the trap that produces the wrong choices — one glance.

Worked solution tab screenshot: case map and step-by-step calculation

2Worked solution

A map of the case, then every calculation step with each input traced back to the data.

3Background

The concept behind the question, taught from zero — this is why you don't need a textbook.

What you get

Built like a study system, not a question dump.

A realistic case, not standalone trivia.

Every question sits inside a case with people, portfolios, and data tables — you read, extract the right inputs, and compute. That is the exact motion the exam grades you on.

3Understand

Worked solution, then the Background tab teaches the theory from zero.

The credential

Why CIPM?

The Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM), administered by CFA Institute, is the specialist credential for investment performance analysis — measurement, attribution, appraisal, manager selection, and the GIPS® standards. It is the recognized qualification for performance analysts, consultants, and asset-owner due-diligence teams.

Level II is the applied exam: realistic cases that ask you to run attribution arithmetic, judge manager skill, and apply the standards to messy, real-world situations. A recent Level II exam window posted a pass rate near 52% — the calculations are where prepared and unprepared candidates separate.

Practice inventory for CIPM is scarce compared with the CFA Program. That is the gap this site exists to fill: original, exam-format question volume with explanations deep enough to study from.

About

Who makes this

Built by a finance professional preparing for CIPM Level II who found the available practice inventory too thin to train on — so built the missing question bank instead. Every item is written against the current curriculum, cross-reviewed for correctness before publication, and maintained as the curriculum changes.

Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. Enter your key on each device you study from.
I'm a Udemy student — is the site free for me?
Yes. The Bonus Lecture of the Udemy course contains a code; apply it at checkout for 100% off and you'll receive a regular unlock key.
I lost my key.
Use the recovery form on the Unlock page — enter your purchase email and we'll resend your key(s).
What about refunds?
There's a 7-day refund window — see the full terms on the Terms & Refunds page. Because the content is delivered instantly, refunds don't apply once you've viewed or downloaded a substantial part of the deck, or shared your key.

No — and that matters. Every question is an original work written for this site. Nothing is copied from CFA Institute materials, so studying here never puts you in conflict with the Candidate Pledge.
